Do you verify reviews?
We use a combination of AI tools and human moderation to identify suspicious content, but we do not verify employment or application histories. We rely on users to share honest, first-hand experiences and take violations seriously.

For Reviewers

Who can write a review?
Anyone who has had a direct experience with a recruiter, recruitment agency, or internal talent team โ€“ whether positive, neutral, or negative โ€“ can write a review.
What should I include in my review?
Focus on your personal, professional experience. Keep it factual, constructive, and avoid naming individuals unless they are public representatives. For help, see our Review Guidelines.
Can I post a negative review?
Absolutely โ€” as long as itโ€™s based on your genuine experience and written respectfully. We donโ€™t censor fair criticism.
Can my review be removed?
Reviews may be removed if they violate our Review Guidelines, such as containing personal information, hate speech, or false claims. We do not remove reviews just because a business disagrees with them.
Will recruiters see my name or contact info?
No. Reviews are anonymous. We do not share your identity with the business you review.

Can I respond to a review about my firm?
Yes. Verified business accounts can publicly respond to reviews in a professional and constructive manner. This is a great opportunity to clarify misunderstandings or thank reviewers for feedback.
I believe a review is unfair or violates your policy. What can I do?
You can request a review by emailing **XXXXXXXXXX** from your business account/email address with the following:
  • The name and URL of the business listing;
  • The content of the review in question;
  • The specific reason(s) for the removal request;
  • Any evidence you wish to include (e.g., correspondence, proof of inaccuracy).
Weโ€™ll assess the content in line with our moderation policy.
Do you allow businesses to pay for review removals or upgrades?
No. We do not offer paid removal or ranking services. All reviews are treated equally, and integrity is central to our platform.
Can I claim my business profile?
Yes. If you are a recruiter or recruitment firm listed on *The Shortlist*, you can claim and manage your profile to keep information accurate and engage with reviewers.

How is content moderated?
